The complicated beginning and challenging riffs of this song are enough to deter aspiring guitarists, but that didn’t stop young Julian from practicing and following his dream of playing live for an audience. Being thus talented at such a young age is no small feat.

Following his introduction by a classmate, Julian strides confidently forward, accompanied by a stunning guitar and, what else but a Black Sabbath t-shirt? The audience knows he’s going to rip some serious rock! Without wasting a second, Julian started to shred and show off what he had learned in the previous few months. Demonstrating this young man’s courage and resolve, he wanted to perform the song even though he hadn’t fully mastered it in music class.

When it comes to rock music, AC/DC is right up there with the biggest names. In 1973, brothers Malcolm and Angus Young from Australia formed a band that would go on to produce timeless rock music and a legendary brand. In the video’s description, Julian says that he’s mostly a bassist, but that he started playing guitar when he was six years old. Though he ultimately settled on “Thunderstruck,” his original plan was to mimic the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton’s rendition of “Orion” from Master of Puppets.
