Although twins are relatively uncommon, many people are fascinated by how two people can be so similar. This includes myself. Megan and Morgan, however, drew more than simply glances because of their striking similarities. When they were four years old, they had eyes like crystal clear water; once captured on camera, photos of them spread like wildfire on the internet.
Megan and Morgan Boyd became known as the “Trueblue Twins” when they were four years old, after the internet fell in love with photographs their mother posted on Instagram. While most parents adore images of their children, these twins’ distinct appearance has sparked global interest. They now have over 153,000 followers on Instagram.
And it’s easy to see why, right? The girls were born on June 6, 2011. Stephanie, their mother, is the mastermind behind the girls’ nickname. She was the one who started calling them the “Trueblue Twins” because of their distinctive blue eyes. If you want to tell which of the girls is Megan and which is Morgan, look at their eyes. Only Megan has two blue eyes. Morgan’s right eye is dark brown rather than blue, giving it a completely distinct appearance.
This is how the girls appear today, at nine years old. Many twins are used to wearing matching clothing. As you can see, this is no different with the Trueblues. Stephanie says she enjoys shopping for clothes for her daughters and keeping their outfits up to date. It is vital to her that her twin girls look and feel well. Many fans are attracted and amazed by the girls’ unusual eye color.
Some people believe that African-American adults with blue eyes wear colored contacts, although they can be born with a rare gene that makes their eyes blue. Stephanie, the Trueblue Twins’ mother, was also born with blue eyes and says she does not wear colored contacts. Despite her daughters’ rise to prominence on social media, Stephanie appears to stay grounded.
She understands that Megan and Morgan’s natural beauty may lead to professional modeling careers, but she does not want to pressure her kids into doing something they may not want to do. That sounds wise! Look at these wonderful 11-year-olds today; aren’t they beautiful?
