Navy Husband Walks To The Scene With His New Bride But Wait Until Music Starts

Everyone looks forward to watching the bride and groom do their first dance. All eyes are on them.
They’re looking their best, dressed in white, and gazing into each other’s eyes, while all the other eyes are gazing upon them. All the preparation, from the seating chart (keeping Uncle Roy away from Aunt Ellie), to picking the right hors d’oeuvres (Cousin Ken is allergic to shellfish), the time has finally arrived when the newlyweds can relax and enjoy the moment.

If you took this opportunity to get to the bar as the lines are short because everyone has stopped to watch this conventional wedding party moment, you’d have missed the biggest surprise of the night.

When Jamie Royak and Jimmy Johncock planned to tie the knot they didn’t want an ordinary wedding. They had a list of three simple things they wanted to accomplish on their wedding day (besides getting hitched): 1- everything to go smoothly, 2- party the night away with friends and family, and 3- surprise everyone with the most awesome first dance EVA!

Jamie and Jimmy chose Brad Paisley’s super hit, “Then” for their first dance together. In 2009, the song became Paisley’s tenth consecutive Number One hit.

But when the mid-tempo ballad starts to skip the DJ kicks it up a notch with Michael Jackson’s up-tempo dance number, “The Way You Make Me Feel” and that’s when the party really lets loose.

They must have practiced for days, as the wedding guests find out when the record changes and the bride kicks off her shoes.
